Our impact encompasses a wide range of causes that resonate with youth, including but not limited to, cause-based and sector-based engagements. Recent initiatives highlight our commitment to diverse and innovative projects, such as digital art creation with seniors and technology-enhanced agriculture. These programs not only address community needs but also empower our volunteers with valuable skills and experiences.
We have partnered with schools and community centers, where students have showcased their projects integrating AI-powered technology into digital composting. Our initiatives are making a tangible difference in creating a greener, more sustainable planet.
Join us in making a difference and be part of a community that champions positive change.

At TinkerThings, we recognise the profound impact of social isolation on seniors and the importance of inter-generational engagement. Our initiatives are designed to bridge the gap between generations by empowering youth with the skills and knowledge to engage meaningfully with seniors.
Through programmes such as digital literacy workshops, inter-generational gardening, and technology-enhanced activities, we provide young volunteers with the tools they need to connect with older adults. These interactions not only enrich the lives of seniors by reducing loneliness and fostering a sense of community but also equip youth with valuable skills and experiences.
By promoting mutual understanding and respect, we aim to create a more inclusive and connected society. Join us in our mission to combat social isolation and build stronger, inter-generational bonds!
As part of our data driven composting efforts, we have a live dashboard of food waste composted including those from our community composters!

Circularity in Schools is conducted through engaging students in activating community spaces to engage in composting.
This multi-stakeholderial approach sees students engaging peers, canteen vendors and parents in contributing food waste to their projects! Students develop sensors and composting management protocols for their school to ensure smooth transitions between batches of students.

Data-driven decision-making in composting is optimises processes and sustainability. By leveraging machine learning and data analytics, students learn to develop composting systems digital twins to predict and control.
These include key variables such as temperature, moisture, and carbon-to-nitrogen ratios. This ensures optimal conditions for efficient decomposition and high-quality compost production.

Inclusivity and Access are important pillars of our work. We emphasise the importance of Digital Inclusion, intergenerationally.
We are proud to partner with Youth Corps Singapore, to foster youth-adult collaboration and community engagement, empowering volunteers through initiatives like digital art with seniors and tech-enhanced agriculture.
Through joint initiatives, we are able to amplify our efforts in promoting social inclusion and sustainability, ultimately making a greater positive impact on the community.
